Wednesday, 18.00, GRA, outside lane, east of Rome. Heavy traffic is typical of Rush Hour, car moving at a crawl, almost motionless, in columns on the three lanes.
This is a part of the GRA with a curve to the left, obviously not being particularly close to the union, but the snake of cars on three lanes makes this almost blind curve when viewed from the emergency lane.
At one point, an idiot hurtling at breakneck speed in the emergency lane.
I had the shakes to think that if any was still a poor man with his car in the emergency lane, a fool could never see him behind the curve and behind the snake of cars made in full with el'avrebbe devastating consequences.
Selfishly, I could not help but think of my wife, for whatever reason could have been stopped in the emergency lane, even with the children on board! Chilling thought. I had the instinct to immediately call my wife to tell her hot: "if you must stop in the emergency lane because there is no other alternative, get the car, quickly climbs over the guard rail and put away before making any else ". Of imbeciles like what I saw on the GRA is full and Italy, I found out later, stopping in the emergency lane is one of the causes of road accidents are more frequent and more deadly. What an ugly
Tok, but I was struck by this experience, fortunately without consequences and I think it is useful to share and spread the word for fools and idiots for potential victims.
