PRESS IDEAL STANDARD GROUP AUDITORS ITALY

MEETING February 1, 2011

was held Tuesday, Feb. 1 at Confindustria Ceramica in Sassuolo, the planned meeting of the National Secretariat Filctem of CGIL, CISL Femca, Uilcem Uil and coordination with national trade union leaders of the Italian Group IDEAL STANDARD. On the agenda were the report on the actions and business results in 2010 along with the illustration of the objectives and actions for the year 2011.
MARKET
Over the past four years the Italian market for sanitary ware was nearly halved. In this context, the Italian company in 2010 has sold 1.759 million pieces of about two percentage points by increasing their share. For the year 2011, the goal is to increase sales to 1.819 million pieces, bringing the company's share to 41 percent of the Italian market. To support the Business Plan are invested over € 11 million in the 2009/10 biennium and are provided for EUR 8 million investment in 2011. In addition to the general decline of the market further problems are represented by the reduced liquidity in the distribution and the presence of high stock ceramic (albeit declining) at the most important customers.
PRODUCTION
volumes produced by the ISI Group in 2010 totaled 1.556 million pieces with a goal for 2011 of 1.751 million pieces. The projected increase for 2010 is approximately 200 000 pieces, and of these about 130 000 will be awarded to the establishment of Orcenico (BL). During 2010 were approved € 5.6 million investment. The stated commitment is to invest further in 2011 to € 5.6 million. Business leaders have reiterated the need to further improve the yield and productivity as a condition for maintaining and increasing the volumes produced in the Italian Group.
LOGISTICS
The project aimed at the realization of the logistic platform of the Group continues to Brescia in compliance. The workers concerned have started operating in January last year under the CDS from the current platform Bassano Bresciano. Remain to be finalized agreements between the city of Brescia and the logistics company of the FS. The attention of both union and company continues to make the entire process would end quickly and positively.
The discussion on data submitted by the Group Management has been very lively. The National Secretariats Filctem, Femca, Uilcem and Coordination union showed that the results of 2010 and estimates for 2011 in terms of both pieces that sold products, remain far below union of shared objectives in the Agreement signed at the Ministry Economic Development in November 2009. On investment - only to corporate responsibility - is lagging behind: the unions not consider it sufficient that they are approved, they must be effectively carried out in order to assess and appreciate the implications in terms of yields and volumes in the years 2010/2011.
rating union on these issues can only be critical and worried. It 'requires a greater commitment to the implementation of the agreements. The organization should overcome delays in implementation, in a short time, for any investment agreed to work in factories - with the trade unions and workers - improving all factors that combine to make competitive products.
E 'need to continue and intensify action to achieve agreement with the regions involved in programs aimed primarily at improving the energy efficiency of facilities and reduce costs. We consider it necessary to urge the Ministry of Economic Development so that all parties-business, labor and institutional - are convened for an overall assessment and to give impetus to the actions agreed but not yet implemented. The National Secretariats
Filctem, Femca, Uilcem and Coordination union, considering the results achieved so far fall short of the agreements, ask the company a change of pace. Otherwise the state right now ready to take initiatives and mobilize union complaint that will be considered more effective at achieving the full implementation of all agreed commitments.
